I have a 2012 q5 2.0. Was getting gas the other day and turned off engine. Started the car up and was shaking and low RPMs when idled. Got home tried to start and wouldn't , one crank and nothing. Hold gas pedal down and start run shaky for a few seconds and then normal. Ran codes on it and got the Bank1: cmp sensor(g40)/speed sensor (g28) code. P0016 00 (039) incorrect correlation.

Is it hopefully as simple as replacing the cmp sensor and if so where is that plug located. Cannot locate. Thanks in advance.

I have the exact same problem. I changed the timing chain thinking that was the problem. But I'm still getting the jerk on idle and the exact same fault. Do you manage to sort yours out. What was it or what did you do to sort it out.
