Climate control recoding
Someone very kindly answered a question I posted on the A6 forum, regarding a problem I have with flashing displays on the climate control after starting the car. The displays just flash for approx 2 minutes and then go stable. The air con works fine. It began to occur immediately after the car battery was changed, although the person who responded said this should not have caused it. If not, it's an amazing, though not impossible coincidence.
Someone stated that it needs to be recoded with a VAG and the manual. I guess this is a specific diagnostic tool. Is there anything I can do to check the problem further or cure it myself?. I don't want to pay £150 to Audi for a few minutes work.
