Auto-trans would not accept recoding Tried 0000012, 0000032, 0001032, and 0001002.

It's current codeing is 0000002.

I'm using a HEX-USB+CAN interface from Ross-Tech with Vag-Com v4.04. Recoded instr (17) just fine yesterday so I assume on the 04's Audi chaged the codes or the auto-trans now needs a login.

Anyone been able to recode one of these and has either a known set of codes, or knows a login code to allo recode?

Last time I did this on a S4 (couple of years back) it worked like a charm without a login.

Any help appreciated.

AFAIK, nobody has figured out the tranny codes for that car.

The original coding is as you allready mentioned 00002, without tiptronic-keys.

for cars with tiptronic-keys the coding should be 01002.

The problem seems to be that there should be special circumstances, I will have a closer look at that, but I can will not promise anything...

My '01 S8 had 01002, I believe, Tried to recode (just fo the fun), won't accept anything else..

Just a thought, I bet there's a good number of codes on the various modules just waiting to be found.

...there several possible codes, of course, but what to do with the codes without the meaning?!
