Default ECU swap gone wrong 2011 S5 - Got a automatic ECU
Team,

So first my sob story, was supposed to move to texas on the 3rd, car died the night prior. Litterally had just parked the car and shut her down, got out walked 10 feet realized I couldnt park in that spot, got back in and lit up like a xmas tree. My buddy/neighbor tried jumping with his GTI and nothing. Hooked it up to vcds....

So with all my **** packed in the u-haul my room mates took off and I got my car towed to a shop. They trickle charged it and tested all relays and fuses. Once those all were found to be good he tested the leads to the ECU, and all apparently were fine. So I ordered an ECU on ebay for 150 bucks by looking up "8t0907560" now the major mistake there was not including the letters that follow.... I got an AD and not AB which was in my car prior. Audi tried to reflash it to manual but were unsuccessful in giving it the manual flash, which I am kinda curious if they used the current part number to find the flash. Going to talk to them on monday when they are open about it. So I came by after they gave the bad news and did another data dump...

So I tried changing the engine settings from 01140009190F0120 to 01140009180F0120 and it kept spitting out an error.

Anyone know of a way to force the change?

Also, does anyone have the security access key, or know about how to find my code? Best ive seen is repair manuals which I do not know what section and/or manual to buy and look in.
