Default Help with codes please...

I have a couple of different codes here. The Xenon one I have tracked down, but the EVAP emissions code keeps returning. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where to look for this one? Thank You

The EVAP code could be the Gas Cap or possibly the EVAP purge valve (N80).

Do you have problems starting the car after filling up with gas? That is one of the symptoms of the purge valve sticking open.

Thanks for the reply. No I don't have problems starting the car after filling up. What about the gas cap could be the problem? Is it not venting properly perhaps? Thanks

Although not the question you asked, you've clearly got some "flakiness" in the communications you should sort out:

Yes. I'm not really very computer literate, but I have the earlier cable with the serial port connection. I now have a laptop that only has USB ports so I had to get a Serial to USB adaptor. The result is that often there are glitches in communication. Is there a way (short of buying a whole new cable) that I can get better communication between car and computer? Thanks
