Help! How to get rid of fog light warning?

Help! How to get rid of fog light warning?
(Double post)
When i converted my B7 to DTM i lost my fogs. Small price to pay, but now i get this very annoying light bulb warning from time to time. The (authorized) shop says they can't do anything about it, that it can't be VAG:ed anyway. They suggested that i connect the full harness again and hide it somewhere under the hood. Sounds like a bad idea. If i ever decide to sell i need to have a clean solution to this. Any suggestions?
