Default I got it partially working, still help needed

Uwe,

I was able to read 46-Central Convenience with HEX-COM+CAN and here's the value:

0065086

I changed it to (added 64):

0065150

Now the windows do scroll down from remote, but not up. I checked the adaptation channel 62 and the value was 7. I changed it to 95 (like in B6 A4), but it only allowed it to put to 31. Still windows didn't scroll up from the remote. And for some reason I was not able to change the value in adaption channel 62 back to 7, it just kept it 31.

What are the upper bits in the 46-Central Convenience and is there additional adaptation channel for 2004 A8?

Thanks!

Default Please do me a favour, send me the output of vag-com's control module finder from that A8 4E...

...I'm currently working on some labelfiles for that car and this list would help a lot.

I don't work with that car that often but once I do, I'll try to get the listing of control modules...

Default Safety feature disabled by this !?!?!

I got a message from my A8 friend:

"I have been told that as a result of making this modification to the software, it eliminates the standard built in safety feature which unlocks the doors in the event of a rollover accident. This apparently is the reason why the Audis sold in this country are not programmed for the remote sunroof & windows. "

This doesn't make any sense. Why the Audis in Europe would come with remote windows as a standard and why remote windows would had anything to do with the door locks?
