Need help with battery coding
I replaced my original 6 year old battery in my 2015 A4 Allroad B8 today. It had a 78Ah 800A battery incorrectly coded by the dealer as 4F0915105C, a 100Ah, 820A battery. I got an 80Ah 800A battery from NAPA. The Varta equivilent would be 580 901 080 D85 2 or 000 915 105 CD. But neither of those numbers were accepted. So I changed the serial number and used the old part number. Accepted but will that cause problems since again the capacity of the actual battery doesn't match the code?
Does anyone know of a correct 4F code?
