Default OBDEleven and my sunroof

My 2017 Q7 sunroof and sunshare are opening just about 10 inches. I suspect that i screwed something up with OBDEleven, inadvertently since i had not mods for the sunroof. I have tried all the resets that i have found but non worked. I am attaching the full history of my OBD11 device to see if somebody can help me making the sunroof working properly again.

When i got OBD11 i did a backup of all modules but just before i did the one for 'Control unit: CA Sunroof', i can see the following that i do not recall doing and the backup was done just after that:
Long coding
Control unit: CA Sunroof
Old value:

New value:
208000000000

Does the Q7 have two different stages of opening? I remember reading about some coding that would eliminate the "low wind noise" or "low air flow" position and open fully with a single push. My S5 doesn't have it, but I thought the Q-series did. Maybe in your case it's stuck the other way.

Edit: The "Low Wind Noise" section here is what I was thinking about.

This is a panoramic sunroof. Not sure if two stages or one but anyway, now it only open 1/4 of the usual. The share used to roll back all the way to the very back.
It seems to have lost programming based on what OBD11 shows.

Hi djedward,

i am facing similar problems with my A4 B9 right now.
The obd11 back up process screwed up, so that the roof and the shade does not function as they should.
I get the same trouble codes as yours: B154354, B154454 and B169400.
The long coding value has changed also from 608000049202 to 608000000000 without my intervention.

How did you resolve this problem.
I hope you can give me a hint, although this topic is already almost 2 years old.

Best regards

Hey, TokCuKo3!

Check this post out, it's worked for me and several others, and seems like the best answer/fix that I've found across forums.

https://www.audiworld.com/forums/q7-...-open-2950957/

Hope you get it working!

Default Q5 2018 OBD and Sunroof

Just had the same issue of OBD overriding the sunroof long code which stops the blind and sunroof working, after speaking to OBD this is how i resolved. Here is what you need to do in order to fix the issue:

Follow the link below:

https://support.obdeleven.com/en/art...05-full-backup

You will find at the end of this FAQ how to restore the long coding original value. The original coding you should put in the control unit sunroof is 528000042602

Once you will insert this code, save it, leave your car, and lock it.

Go a bit further from your vehicle, with the key with you, until your vehicle's headlights will turn off.

Once that happens, return to your vehicle.

Press and hold down your sunroof button, until the sunroof will completely open and close.

Connect the OBDeleven to your vehicle -> open the control unit Sunroof (CA) -> basic settings -> and run basic setting “Roof roller blind, calibration”.

After these steps, it should work as before.
