Ross Wiki and Bentley yield nothing.

Might not be your problem, but I have had intemittent brake light bulb failure and found the reason:
In the dual filament bulbs, like brake light/parking light ones I have seen where the filament has failed at one of the ends of the wire itself and it will still make contact on occasion when it is relatively cold, but when it heats up due to use it will expand and no longer make contact thus resulting in an open circuit. Later on, due to cooling/contraction or vibration it makes contact again, only to fail upon use when it heats up again. Eventually it will fail, but this has caused me confusion and arguments with my wife when she says the bulb is bad and I find it working when I inspect it.
Might not explain everything, but keep this in mind next time you have a bulb that appears to fail intermittently. In the end, bulbs are cheap and usually a PITA to get to, so once I open up a tail light or side marker lamp housing, I always replace the bulb just to be sure.

Re: Ross Wiki and Bentley yield nothing.
I have the same error code "18062 - Please check DTC Memory of Instrument Cluster
P1654 - 004 - No Signal/Communication - Intermittent"
Only thing i know broken with my car(same but year 2004), is headlights waterpump, will change it and check if error goes away.

Have you had your car jet washed recently?
Hi folks - have any of you with these electrical problems had your car jet washed recently?
Having had my car jet washed for the first time yesterday I'm now dealing with a faulty fuel gauge and a malfunctioning Tuner/MMI/Phone module. I think these drive thru power washes get water in all sorts of places it shouldn't be.
