The ESP light is on constantly and the CEL light is on also. These both popped up at the same time yesterday which is a coincidence or they are related. I found someone here on the forums that had the exact same codes pop up like I did.

This sounds like a bad MAF, but I have not had this situation personally, just recall reading a post
about a bad MAF causing the ESP/ABS issues but that was with a 2.7t and not a 4.2L. Your situation could be different. Are you in limp mode/down on power? On the 2.7t, if you unplug the MAF it will go into a speed/density mode. Hope this gives you some ideas.

if you clear the codes, how quickly does it come back? maybe your system
sneezed or something? still, if it was intermittent you might be okay, but this sounds like your MAF might be going. what air filter do you have? cleaned it lately? you sure it's plugged in all the way?
