Swapped out my B7 A4 seats
 

Swapped out my B7 A4 seats to B7 RS4 seats and I am getting the airbag indicator light on my DIS. I used my VAG for fault codes and got the following:

Yup, tried both procedures and I have the same result

Scratching head. If you have no other fault codes, those procedures should do the trick.

Are you talking about Euro B7 RS4 seats or US B7 RS4 seats?

The Euro seats don't have side airbags so I'd imagine the coding is different.

My Australian spec B7 RS4 came standard with the Euro RS4 seats - if you need to know any coding from my car feel free to let me know.

They are US B7 RS4 seats, Thanks for the offer I appreciate it

not sure what happened but I cleared the codes and restarted the car and no more airbag light! I shut off the car waited a bit and re checked to see if any codes came back and they did not,SUHWEET!

Hi, I saw your posting about your seat upgrade. Nice. Any interest in selling your old seats (assuming you have heated seats)? My looking at upgrading my girlfriends '07 S-line to heated seats because we live in the Pacific Northwest.
