Default TPMS Activation

I have a 2001 Allroad that did not come with factory option of the tire monitoring system, looking to see if I can retrofit an OEM sytem and what I need to do in the VAG COM programming.

Default In theory almost anything can be retrofit,

but the question is, how much hassle is it?

The programming should be easy. Instrument Cluster -> Adaptation -> Channel 061 -> Add 512 to whatever value is there.

However, I expect the wiring needed will be a total PITA.

Default Re: In theory almost anything can be retrofit,

Thanks, going to buy one in tire sensor and do the programing to see if it works. Then will go from there. If too big of PITA will move onto another mod.
