Tuned ECU swap MY15-GTI to MY15-A3
I currently own a tuned MkVII GTI, I plan on buying a stock 2015 A3 and swapping over the mods (including the ECU)
In short - I want to swap a tuned VW ECU into the A3.
To my surprise the A3 and GTI have matching ECU part numbers (06k 907 425 B), I'm guessing that is a good start.
Anyone have experience in swapping ECU's while also retaining the engine tune?
I do own an unlimited license VAG-COM, any insight / tips would be greatly appreciated!

That's not something you could do with VCDS since those vehicles have Immo with Challenge as explained here:

It's possible that a chiptuner might be able to make that happen but you'd need to check.
