Uwe, have you had a chance to hook up to a new 2004 A8L yet?

I doubt it, but do you think that your software will talk with the A8L? I'm sure it needs the new type cable.

There are a few A8L's arriving on the A8 forum, I mentioned that it would be cool to see if the suspension could be tricked into lowering like the allroad suspension can be.

Default Not personally.

Some people in Europe earlier this year reported that the current VAG-COM will be able to get fault codes from engine and tranny, but not much else. This was pretty much what we expected because everything else must be done with a direct-CAN connection. We expect to have everything in place to start working on that within the next two weeks. But I'm not ready to commit to a date for a full-function direct-CAN version of VAG-COM yet -- only that it WILL happen.

Too bad for those that own them, good that I'm a couple of years away from one!
