Default VAG COM in Chicago?

Does anyone know of a person or shop in or near Chicago that can perform VAG COM mods? I am specifically looking to modify the settings on my DRL to remain at full brightness when I have the parking/fog lights on. As of now, they dim when I move them off any setting other than OFF.

More specifically, I ran into this, but not really sure what it means....

Keep LED's at Full Brightness with Parking Lights

This will stop the LED's from dimming when the parking lights are turned on.

Hi there,
I was able to have the VAG com changes done by a Chicago mechanic . I was charged $50/- to apply 3 changes and it works like a charm... The changes done were
1. Disable the 'wink' effect ie Turning of DRL when turn signal is on
2. Full needle sweep along with test of warning lights like in S4, S6 and A8 when ignition is turned on. Fun effect
3. LED down to 40% instead of default 9% when low beams are on

The shop contact info :
Lee Foreign Car Service
727 S. Jefferson St
Chicago
Tel 312-663-0823

Good luck...

K-man,

Thanks for the info and mechanic contact! I will give him a call to set-up an appointment. I definitely want to disable the DRL turn signal wink effect but may also do the others.

I have a 2013 Q5 - what model do you have? I will need to reread some of the posts/links I found previously to see if there are VAG com instructions for my particular vehicle. Or maybe you or someone knows which VAG com changes may work.

All suggestions are appreciated!

Thanks again!

Just saw that you also have a 2013 Q5! I'd love to get a copy of the VAG com changes you used.
