I just bought a 2006 Audi A8L 3 weeks ago. I have fixed quite a few of the quick and minor fixes so now it's on to the more complicated stuff. Today I connected with VCDS, cleared all codes and then re-scanned. I am having trouble deciphering what the report says and I am looking for assistance.

Looks like low voltage fault was not cleared.

Perform Coding and Calibration. Follow onscreen instructions.

Probably just connection. If it works just forget it.

Probably part of 07 fix. Check Installed List there.

Looks like your alarm horn is dead. It is on the right side just below windshield, under the plenum. Only way is new horn. Not cheap.

Check the rear brake pads. They are either worn or somebody did poor job coding it when replaced. If they are physically OK perform VCDS procedure for replacement.

Looks like antenna connection not perfect. If your radio is working just forget it.

Replace TPMS sensors. Buy aftermarket.

01521 - Sensor for Tire Pressure - When I purchased the car the low pressure light was on. The dealer said he had purchased all 4 new TPMS sensors. Currently no low pressure light on. I'm a bit confused here.





A few weeks ago i found some decent tutorials on how to use VCDS specifically with a D3 A8 but I can't seem to find them now. Is there any consensus on a particular source?
