Every time i start my car in the first 5 minutes the BRAKE indicator on my cluster Beeps Then Flashed 5 or 6 times. The brake fluid looks ok. Could this be a software issue and is there a way to reprogram it?? Its not that i need brakes done? That indicator is different i believe.
Please help, i really hate paying $90hr for dealer service.

The Fuel Sensor Fault Corrected itself. Fuel Gadge was not working for about 1 week then resumed normal function. What are the other faults and do they tie in with the brake indicator problem. As you can see there are a few faults but there is nothing wrong with the car visually. No problems with Telephone, Cd Changer, Battery working fine..why would i have these faults?

Based on what I see and what my experience is (I'm not an Audi tech), I'd do quite some updates to this car before I would search for real issues.

Ok, here's a list of available updates...

#01 Engine: 4F1-910-559-B 0050 > 0070
#05 Acc/Start Auth.: 4F0-910-852 0150 > 0210

#07 Control Head (MMI): 4F0-910-730-E 1070
Real old one, at least according to european standards. The update procedure would be 1070>1200>2120>2830, the software part number of the control module will change too. Remember I am not sure what the latest US market MMI update is.
The MMI update will also update other components which it is connected to, like cd-changer, soundsystem, radio, telephone and such!

If the updates are different on US models will it harm my car in anyway? will it cause anymore malfuntions?. What should i know about updating. Is it easy to do or should i have a shop do it??

...due to liability reasons VAG-COM don't do flashing, which would be required to do updates.
