xenon calibrating?
i just had some body work done and upon return of my 2003a41.8tm my xenon level light is now on. can this be corrected somehow with VAG tool? I just recieved a hex-com today. Also if I reset my fault codes will me EPC light go out? it has been on since my ECM was removed/replaced.

The adjustment is done mechanically, however..
You need a VAG-tool to put the Headlight Range controller into Basic Settings mode before you make the mechanical adjustment, otherwise it will simply "compensate" out any adustment you make.
The normal process (very condensed) is:
[Select] -> [55 - Headlight Range] -> [Basic Settings - 04] -> Group 001 -> [Go!].
Now the headlights will move to the adjustment position (may take up to 20 seconds). Then make your mechanical adjustment using the adjustment screws. When done, exit Basic Settings, go back into Basic Settings, but this time go to Group 002 and the system will relearn everything. Now clear fault codes in the system.
You probably should refer to a complete procedure for your particular car before attempting this.
