2004 Audi S4 - Nogaro on Nogaro Blue - 6MT only 85k mi -- timing chain job complete

2004 Audi S4 -- Nogaro on Nogaro Blue Alcantara -- 6MT – only 85.5k miles. Very desirable color combo. Clean Carfax -- no accident history. No previous paintwork. 18" Avus wheels (spare too) with no curb rash of note. Aluminum mirror caps. Completely stock except for: JHM Tuning 93 Octane software for ‘piggies’, 034Motorsports Snub and HD Motor Mounts, 034Motorsports Diff mount reinforcement, 15mm ECS wheel spacers on the rear. Only just over 250 imported in this color combo with a manual for 2004. Arguably one of the best “Noggy” S4s on the market considering its condition, mileage, maintenance, and options. VIN: WAUPL58E14A034688

Mechanical: All maintenance up to date, including the S4’s infamous timing chain issue. Complete receipts showing over $4800 in service performed at 68k miles. The motor was pulled from the car and all chains, guides, and tensioners replaced, along with adjusters. A/C system serviced. Front and rear brake pads and rotors. All this service performed by Audi factory trained technician. Since then, I have changed the trans and diff fluid with Motul and oil/filter with a high quality synthetic and replaced the front lower control arms. Four new Continental ExtremeContact tires installed at 78k mi. For what it’s worth, I’m a degreed Mechanical Engineer / car nut and have kept a word document of all maintenance details.

Interior: This S4 has factory Navigation, which was an option on the B6 platform. This S4 also has the RNS-E B7 platform Navigation system, in dash. Original wiring harness with no cut wires. Both systems are in the car, and both of them function. iPod connection wired through the glove box. There is some normal wear on the driver’s seat bottom Alcantara from getting in and out. I recently re-upholstered the headliner which now looks great over the majority of it instead of sagging in the rear as B6s are apt to do. However, my work around the perimeter of the sunroof opening wasn’t perfect. It's not very noticeable though unless you purposely look up (who does that anyway).

Options: HID headlights, BOSE sound system, Cold weather package, black leather with blue Alcantara suede inserts. Aluminum belt line trim throughout the interior. Recaro interior. OnStar ready. Power rear sunshade with rear door sunshades. Dual power seats. Moonroof.

Exterior: The exterior is in excellent condition. Would say 9.5 out of 10. Paint on front and rear bumpers is excellent condition. They have not been resprayed. The bumpers and headlights had been covered with 3M clear bra by the previous owner. A couple of small imperfections on the exterior, the most noticeable is a door ding above the driver door handle. This had been strictly a California (orig purchased At Beverly Hills Porsche/Audi by a known movie special effects guy) and Arizona vehicle until I shipped it to Atlanta in January of 2014.

Will be listing soon on BringATrailer.com since I believe this will appeal most to the aficionados there. No low-ballers please. Selling because I had another kid come along and don’t drive this much in the first place.
