In 2008, the S6 was rare in the U.S., so I had one built to my specs and then picked it up at the Audi factory in Ingolstadt, via Audi’s European Delivery Program for the U.S. market. I got the exact color combo I wanted – Phantom Black pearl effect exterior and Ash colored leather interior (a beautiful off-white color). I also got the Euro-spec exterior lighting, which means the two strips of LEDs in the front fascia stay on even when the headlights are on (normally, they do not); and you can have the LEDs, the fog lights, and the high beams all on at same time. A very dramatic look.
