I have a neighbor interested in selling his 1982 4000 Coupe (NOT GT), 5 cyl, 5 speed, Fuel Injected car with only 42K on it! Parked literally in a barn for 15+ years. No body damage, leather seats a little tired, but was running fine when parked! I am interested myself, but having a hard time finding how to value the car since there aren't many out there. Any help appreciated OR if interested yourself, I'd be happy to pass on your info! I'm a general car guy, but new to the "Audi world"! This is in the north Atlanta area. I have 4 pics to share - adding some here.

I sold a 1990 or '91 200 a few years ago. Had sat for maybe 8 years and had over 100k on it bus in pristine condition. I think I got $1,200 for it. Don't know how much that helps.

That is a Coupe, I had one Blu/blue for 225000 miles...
Add the cost of parts it needs when clean, and the body/interior recondition.

When added does it come to a price you would pay for a car w/ 42000 miles?

It will be difficult to get body and interior parts so consider that.

Look at Quattros of that era ('83-'87); for $15000-20000 you can get a good one
that will need only some reconditioning and have a real legend!!
