FS in MI: 2005 Audi A8 $4,500
EDITTED WITH UPDATE!!!
CAR IS NOW RUNNING AND NOT OVERHEATING. It has a new thermostat and a timing belt. Tensioner and idler were inspected. Considering they, plus the water pump were new at 218,000 miles, I figure it's good to go another 75K or more miles.
I have changed the price but leaving details of this post for people to see. Oh and the thermostat was an Audi OEM part so buying genuine isn't a guarantee that it is unbreakable. I put it in a pot of water on the stove and it didn't open even after it came to a full boil. I put a pic out there for the skeptics, especially the ones that said. gotta use genuine Audi parts.
The Location is Holland, MI (a mile from the big lake)
Black exterior, saddle leather interior.
Everything works fine. AC blows ice cold, air suspension is fine.
Continental Extreme DWS less than 10,000 miles
Only scan issues are some parking sensors and engine mount
Occasional left front headlight indicator, but lights work fine.
Very recent repair of ABS Module, which took care of ABS/Brake/Ebrake and other associated issues. Cheap ABS did the fix
Mileage 252,000
Full timing belt service at 215,000 including tensioner, rollers, belt, water pump and THERMOSTAT!. Also done at that time were valve cover gaskets, seals, cam chain tensioner gaskets both sides AND the oil cooler water pipe.
The thermostat was stuck closed. It didn't boil over but the temp gauge would go up. Running the heater at "high" with the blower speed up allowed me to drive it 6-7 miles to the shop.
It would idle for a long time but overheated after driving a few miles
The condition of the car reflect both the previous own who croaked at 84 and didn't drive much in the last few years, and myself also an old man (72) but don't plan on croaking any time soon. And yes, I drive like an old man because it gets much better MPG than if i stuck my foot in it all the time.
So there you have it. Nice looking Audi driven by little old men from Pasadena. OK, I'm not exactly little.
NOW ASKING $4,500 OBO

yes
If by "Parktronic you mean the things that make it beep when a car is close behind like when backing into a parking space, then the answer is yes. It also has the ski sack bag thing when you put the back seat armrest down. I never used it for skis but have put some long stuff in it from the trunk.
