FS in WA: 2001 Audi Allroad, $2,000
Hi all, this is Gary- a 2001 Audi Allroad who's belonged to 3 different families in his lifetime, (me being his third, final.) After the second family, he was brokered through a mechanic, whose specialty is Euro cars, who had completely revamped the car before selling to me, including doing extensive under-the-hood work. This is a great car for someone looking for a passion project; with some work, Gary will be back at it in no time. Gary is still operable, however he should not be driven until said work is finished.
In the interest of honesty and full disclosure, the following was brought to my attention through my current mechanic and will need to be addressed ASAP:
-Catalytic converters need replacement
-Radiator needs replacement
-Transmission output shaft has a leak
-Check engine light is on
He has a dent from previous owners in trunk door; does not affect locking or closing mechanisms. He withstood minor, cosmetic damage from a sideswipe on the right side of the front paneling next to the headlight. (Headlight not damaged, is in working order.)
Gary is an amazing car and got me through the historic East Coast winter of 2015 with his 3-leveler lift system as well as moving me to the West Coast permanently. He has leather seats, a center seat ski sheath/bag, working radio AND CD player (!!), and working heat/AC systems.
The long and short of it is, this is a great, great car. Super safe, has some serious weight to it, (curb weight: 4,200 lbs), and is awesome for families, dogs, friends...whatever! If I had the mechanical knowledge, I'd repair it myself.
$2,000 or best offer. Needs to be gone by 9/24. Seattle, WA.
