WTT: 1997 993 C4S for B7 RS4
Edit: I'd also consider a B7 S4 Avant, same colors/specs.
Hi all. It's time for me to get into an all-season vehicle that I can fit the fam in. As such I'm going to be putting my 993 up for sale in the coming weeks. My ultimate goal however is to get into an RS4 so maybe someone here would be interested in working out some kind of trade to save me a few steps. :)
What I'm Looking For: An enthusiast-owned and mid/low-mileage RS4 ~ 60k or less, 45k ideal. I'd be ok with some bolt-on upgrades like exhaust, wheels, etc. No ECU mods. Colors I'm interested in, more or less in order of preference: Papaya, Glut Orange, Sprint Blue, Imola, Dolphin Gray. Anything else would be on a case-by-case basis.
What I Have to Offer: 1997 993 C4S. 1998 was the last year Porsche made an aircooled 911. 50,0011 original miles. Triple black, Factory Aerokit II, Motorsound package. Wheels professionally restored and are perfect. "Big Red" calipers professionally restored and are perfect. Car is original except for a couple minor, reversible tweaks: PSS 10s with about 700 miles on them (have factory suspension available as well), lowered to euro ride height. Gauge faces were silver from the factory, but one was bubbling when I bought the car- since that was literally the only silver thing in the car I had the gauges professionally restored @ Palo Alto speedometer, changed to black faces, and replaced factory plastic gauge covers with glass (this is my favorite upgrade, once you look at gauges through glass you can never stand plastic again, ha). Also have a Rennsport strut brace I've yet to install that goes with the car, car cover, trickle charger. Car drives perfectly, is bone-dry, starts up on first try every time. I've shown the car a couple times and people always tell me it looks like a new car. They can't believe it when I tell them it's 20+ years old. I've had her 3.5 years and have only covered ~ 1600 miles, including one 900 mile trip. Sad, I know...such is the reality of family life I'm afraid.
Deal I'm After: trade plus cash on your end to make up the difference. I'm willing to pay well for the right RS4, and am not going to give away the 993. Looking for a reasonable, fair trade both parties can be happy about.
Here's what Hagerty has to say about 993 C4 S values (I'd consider my car between #2 & #3 but I think Hagerty's a bit optimistic on prices based on my watching daily for the past 11 years)

Below's a pic of my car I snapped with my phone. If there's any real interest I can and will take as many pics as requested, and of course car is available to view by interested parties. Details there once we talk. Oh and please, serious inquiries only - I've got a job and a family and am in a band... spare time to talk cars I ain't got. ;)
Cheers all, and thanks for looking.
