forgive my ignorance, but will these wheels fit a b5 s4 without an airbag light or any hub adapter needed?

They will fit without an adaptation, however you are running a dual stage airbag in a car that is single stage. This is an untested setup and folks do modify the harness to attempt to get function proper. No airbag lights or errors occur after modification of the harness.
