2018 Q5 winter setup ?
Hi All,
I am thinking about purchasing an 18in wheel and tire package from Tirerack. I know the 18's(coming from 20in OEM) will fit, but the Pirelli Winter Scorpions I noticed don't come with the XL load rating, any concerns with this? I don't drive fully loaded and most times it's just my wife and daughter. They do offer the Michelin with the XL rating, any opinions on how these are in the winter versus the Pirelli's? I am in CT if this helps.

An extra load rated tire is not required with the Q5, but some of the OEM tires are. I have one also, and I much prefer a non XL tire as the ride is much better. The 235/60 18 Blizzak DMV2 (XL) is the best rated snow tire in the size.
