205/50/17 will fit on the stock sport 17's right?

Exactly my setup - Blizzak LM-22's
Interesting note - the 205 blizzaks are wider (more rim protection) than the 225 p6000's.
No experience with the LM22's in snow (its 60 freakin degrees here) but they're damn good in dry and wet conditions.

Are your stock tires 225/45 or 235/45?
I have a new '02 A4, and the 17-inch tires are 235/45. That translates into 215/50. However, I have not been able to find snow tires in this size. The 205/50s will suffice, but the speedo will be a little bit more off than with the 215s.

Re: 205/50/17 - yes. bit improved in deep snowfall.
If the roads are mostly dry & clear the 225s will have the dry handling adavanatge, but either size will work fine.
Call me if I can help!
Thanks
