Default Awesome Hamann Monoblocks???

I just saw a couple pictures in the General Discussion forum of A4's awesome wheels. Some of the responses indicated that the wheels are Hamann Monoblocks (Not sure if spelling is correct). I was not considering purchasing after-market wheels for my car, until now. If anyone has info(prices, where to purchase, weight of each wheel, offset, etc.) I would really appreciate it. These wheels are beautifully matched for the A4 in my opinion. Thanks in advance for your responses.
Paul
The Hamann Monoblock IIs are about $3000/ with tires... thats including cross drilling... from what I've heard so far they are made for BMWs and have to be MODIFIED for A4s. ... I plan on buying a set within the next 2 weeks.

-Dantley

Default Hamann Monoblock (pic)...

This is the Monoblock. The pic on the General Discussion may be another Hamann wheel. As has been said, Hamanns fit BMW, so they would have to be re-drilled to fit Audi.
CraigB

Craig,
I've seen and liked the monoblocks before, but I don't see how you could redrill this wheel without destroying its appearance. Don't have experience with redrilling though. Also, I haven't seen a pic of the monoblock (I) on an A4--anyone else?
Rich
'98 2.8Q sport

Default Talk to Michael (Kaiser I believe is his SN)

He's got them on his 1.8T, and the redrill job looks really good on it. You can hardly tell until you get about within 3 feet of his car...and still then, it looks fine.
I'd go that way with wheels myself, i don't think there is a much better looking wheel for the A4....(despite the fact that it wasn't made for an A4, who gives : )
HTH,
Edmund Louie
98 A4Q 30V
