Gary, question on load index and Road Hazard.
Looking at the 235/40/18s as well. Someone had previously mentioned concern over load index.
I have a 2001 Audi TT Quattro. Any issue?
Also, how does the Road Hazard Program work on closeouts? If a replacement tire is required, do you just basically get refunded the original purchase price or is a different tire substituted?

UPDATE*** most of these sizes are sold out BUT final shipment due by mid March.
You can still preorder for the time being at the lower prices online. Just refer to "gary/audiworld" as your previous contact.
If we get to a point where the pre orders exceed the # of tires coming to stock in a given size I'll post, email or call you to let you know.

Tires

Re: Gary, question on load index and Road Hazard.
Any 235/40R18 has more than enough load capacity for the TT, no problem.
The Road Hazard is a financial reimbursement only. The Road Hazard company will cut you a check for the price you paid for the tire rather than getting you a new one.
