Buying a set of RS-GT's, advice + help with tires?
Hey, buying a set of 4 RS-GTs from a local sale, just the rims no tires.
I have a B6 S4. They are 19" and were on a B5 S4. Checking BBS website suggests the same offset (et38) for each car. The guy isn't sure of the offset but are my chances pretty good that the rims will fit my car as well? Should I be worried about something?
He had 235/35 R19 Toyo's on the wheels. Tirerack suggests 245/35 for my car with these wheels. Is this the size I should go with? I live in Boston and the roads aren't too nice, do you guys think 35 is too low profile? Would 40 be okay as far as fittment is concerned?
Other than that, I will probably go with Pilot Sports.. Any other suggestions? A more cost effective solution would be nice if their isn't much change in performance. Also, anyone have any tires for sale?
Thanks for all the help!
