Default Can I use a 275/35/21 tire on RS7 ?

Hi all,

Just bought Audi RS7 with 275/30/21 tires. Its great but the tires are too low and I already had to change two after hitting a "not too special" bumps on two quite ordinary roads.

As the first puncture might have been caused due to high speed and lack of experience at my part, the second one was really under regular circumstances.

I was told that if I am to use 35 or 40 instead of the 30 it might be better but under AUDI's directives I would need to change the wheels from 21 to 20….

I rather keep my 21 if possible since it will cost less and actually looks better.

I will appreciate your educated advice!!

Thank you for your support!!

Just bite the bullet and go to 20's.

going to a 35 series 21 inch setup will be an inch taller so basically everything will be a half an inch closer to the tire.

20 inch tires are cheaper than 21 inch tires so the savings in tires will help offset the cost of new 20 inch wheels. With some careful shopping you should be able to find a nice clean set of used wheels and help with the cost even more.
