Default Center bore VW vs. Audi.....

So I bought a set of VMR's for a Golf R that I never bought. So I know if I want to fit them to the S 4, I can get the center bore drilled to 66.5....Once that is done, would I be able to fit them on a VW if the day comes?
thanks, as always.
