Conti Sport Contact 2 confusion
 

The Tirerack lists a plethora of Conti Sport Contact 2 tires in 205/55/16. I'm interested in either a V, W, or Z-rated version.

From the charts it's impossible to tell the differences other that speed ratings. Some versions list an SL rating, some dont. Some tires are listed as OEM for Mercedes, VW, etc, but prices for what seems to be the same tire over an over vary. The prices, specials, and close-outs are all over the place.

Does anybody know which of all those 205/55/16 (rated V, W, Z) comes with a rim protector bead?

Oh, and has anybody used Avon N-Tech M500 tires, and if so, how were they?

There are many versions of this tire in this size in various speed ratings and OEM specifications (made for BMW, MBZ) All of them have rim protectors. If a particular version is on closeout, it can appear as if it were a double listing.
