Eddie: What are my options for 17-inch snow tire sizes?
I want to keep the 17-inch sport wheels that came on my '02 A4 quattro on my car this winter. My current tires are 235/45-17. I would like to get narrower tires for the snow -- what sizes are best bet?
I used a tire-size calculator, and it said I should go with 215/15 tires. However, I can't find any snows in this size. Will 205/50s be OK? I know the speedo will be a little bit more off. Is that acceptable?
Or, should I just stick with the original 235/45 size? Thanks!
