Default Five Tire Rotation... Directional Tires
I'm planning on upgrading to winter tires this year on my VW Bug, but she has a full sized spare, which seems like it might cause a problem for rotating it in with directional winter tires.

Am I better off getting a temporary spare? Or ???

Default You keep it as a spare but do not rotate it in
Just rotate the winter tires Front to rear on the same side.

Just use a old worn tire for the spare.
