Default how are the O.Z. Superturismo GT wheels?

They are light enough, but how strong are they? Stronger than my 17" OEM (see sig)? I bent more than 3 in the last 3 years.

what specs should I be looking for to match the 17/45/235 tires I have? 17x7.5 5-112 offset 35? I've been trying to do some research, but I'm still a little confuse.

I'm also considering hartman replicas, but I may shy away from any wheel that is heavier than my stock wheel

Default They are strong wheels

However, if you've bent three OEM wheels, something isn't right. The OEM wheels probably wouldn't bend under normal driving conditions. Are you sure your air pressure is high enough? What kind of roads are you driving on, and at what speeds?
I wouldn't expect the OZs to be any more resistant to bending than OEM wheels of the same size.

Default NYC, man the last one was a big pothole

it was an on ramp from one highway to the next so there was no shoulder, but there was a big bus next to me. The pothole was a tire's width deep at least and the diameter looked more than 20". I knew there was no avoiding a bent rim. I was happy the alignment was not damaged.

I don't want to pay another $500+ for an oem rim, but I don' want to sacrifice weight or strength. I'm not sure, but I think the oem wheel is about 24lb.

Default Hell, no wheel is going to withstand that kind of punishment.

At that point you have to be as concerned with blowing up sidewalls as wheels.

Default that's the beauty of conti extreme contacts

The rim was bent, but the tire was good (it understandably did lose air due to the bent rim). The stock pirelli p6 used to bubble all the time. My next tires will most likely be continentals.

I have decided to go with the OZs.
