I am almost decided on getting the Bridgestone SO-3's for my car, but have a few questions
What are the drawbacks of this tire other than the price? How is the tread life? Should I expect a longer life from the SO3's than from SP8000's? How about road noise and wheel protection? Thanks

EXCELLENT tire.
The S03s are THE highest technology tire on the market for wet performance today.. overall, I recommend them highest as the best of the best. Compared to your OEM 8000Es, much higher wet traction, dry handling, steering response, etc.
