UPS Driver left a note on my door: Raining and tires will get wet if i leave them. Will try again on
monday or you can visit the UPS depot (50+ miles from my house).. WTF, they are tires, a little rain shower isn't gonna hurt them.. People never cease to amaze me.

Great tire, great price. I've tracked these on my Mazdaspeed3.
And they are very very good for a street tire. I don't even want to upgrade to dot-r's yet because I can keep up just fine so far with people that are using(wasting) dot-r tires in the intermediate run groups.
Sucks I just bought 2 dunlops as a cheaper replacement to 2 of my re01r's. I mixed and matched with my two remaining re01r's, and must say that they play well together, the car was not unbalanced either way because of it. But now my remaining re01r's are shot. Hmm. Should I get more re01r's and keep mixing and matching?
I will agree 100% that the dunlops are MUCH noisier on the street than the re01r's. Even compared to my mostly worn re01r's, my nearly new dunlops are very noisy.
I will say that I can't really tell a difference in grip levels between the two tires, but I'm probably not at a level to judge the finer differences at the limit - they are very similar to me. Maybe if I ran them back to back on the same day and compared lap times.
For reference I'm in the 1:34's at HHR, and 2:09's at TWS clockwise (with traffic, no clean laps on tape so probably a 2.07). On the RE01R's. These tire work pretty well at my intermediate level!
