Default Pirelli P6000 Veloce

Has anyone out there tried these tires? I am looking for a compromise tire with good dry, wet and snow performance. I would have picked the P7000ss if the snow performance was better. How do these tires compare to the stock Goodyear RSA's?
THanks,
E

Default Re: Pirelli P6000 Veloce

I had a set of P6000 (not Veloce) on my MB C280 before, and I think they performed very well. They're quite grippy in dry and wet traction is very good IMHO. Unfortunately my set worn out just after about 27,000 KM. I called the local Pirelli about this abnormal wear and showed them the tires, they decided to refund 60% of the tire value through the dealer where I bought the tires from originally. And then the dealer sold a set of Bridgestone Expedia S-01 instead . So far so good.
For mixed condition driving I think the P7000 will do better than the 6000 Veloce. There's a comparison test at www.tirerack.com, check it out, it might help.
