Potenza S02 PP 235/40 17 with the fit on stock S4 rims? more
 

any comments on my choice?

I got 225/45/17 SO-2 PP on my 1.4" lowered S4...they fit fine...no rubbing
 

I think the 235/40/17 is slightly wider...but shorter. I cannot say for sure...but I "think" they will fit.

how do you like them?

Well...I got 3rd or 4th in an autox yesterday (out of about 30 cars)
 

I guess that could be partly due to the tires. I have not had a chance to drive them much...but I like them so far.

Specs for the S02 PPs (awesome tire- I run them too)- Rim Width Range...... 8.00 to 9.50.

The stock S4 wheel is a 17X7.5" wheel. I still recommend 225/45R17 as best tire size for S4 stock wheels for that reason!
