Default SP9000 vs SP5000?

How different are these wrt:

(1) stability at high speed (110mph)?
(2) road noise?
(3) sidewall stiffness?

fwiw I have a seperate set of winter tires and wheels but for non-track spirited driving, are the sp9000's overkill?

One thing is that here in Canada, the 9000's are much more expensive $350 per tire vs $250 for the SP5000. I noticed that tirerack has the 9000's for $108 USD????

if you have separate winter tires, go with the 9000s. The 5000s are all-season.

I did not like the ride on my 9000s, SP5000 is about the best tire available in general.
