Testimonial to my DWS06's
Last night, coming home from work in the nor'easter that's hitting us, I got quite surprised by a large tree falling down, across my lane, absolutely in front of me...!
Now, it was dark & the roads were all slick with freezing rain & wet snow.....& that tree came down immediately in front of me, very quickly. I was doing about 35 at the time
I was fortunately able to steer abruptly into the opposing lane on my left &, then, back I to my own lane. Fortunately, no one was heading toward me.
My A6 handled it all quite well! The DWS06'S, that I recently had put on, but in very well, Quattro & ESP did their job and the koni shocks H&R rear bar kept understeer away.
So, I am still amazed that I didn't have to drive THROUGH that tree & total my 12yr old A6. If I did, I'd still be tearful.
But it all started with those DWS06's digging in on a Very Slick road & getting my around that tree!
