Default Tire Recommendation???

I am looking to go back to a squared setup for tire rotating purposes. I've got a C7 A6 Quattro

I plan on going with RS6 reps in 20x9 and a 255/35-20 tire.

What tires are you folks running with the OEM setup that is reasonably priced with decent performance, tire wear and low road noise? It's a tall order, I know.

Thanks for the input

JW

P.S. The Vossen VFS1s and Hankook tires will be up for sale once I do the deed ...

About how many miles do you consider to be decent wear?

Realistically, I would say 40k-ish...considering some spirited driving on a softer/stickier compound.

For wear anywhere near 40k you'll need to stick with all-season tires.

Top choices in 255/35R20 for handling and grip with tires that will see near this type of wear will be the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S3 and Goodyear Eagle Sport All-Season.
