Tyre wear 2015 q5
Hi,
I'm looking for some advice. I have a 2015 q5 s line plus with 13800 miles on the clock.
both front tyres are wearing excessively on the outside edge. 3.6mm of tread left across the rest of the tyre but down to the cord on the outsides.
this just seems odd to me, wheel alignment was out slightly but not enough to cause this wear. This was advised by the dealer.
The dealerhas since told my wife that's just the way the tyres wear on the q5.
to me it smells like BS.
Has anyone any ideas on this ?
Thanks

In other words, 'correct' alignment can favor performance over wear.
