Default wheel choices for new q7

does anyone have an opinion on ride characteristics for 19 20 and 21 inch wheels.
the 21 wheels look great. the 20 10 spoke are ugly. the 19's are ok but how is the ride for each?

I test drove 20's and 21's. I went with the Black Optics Package (i.e. 21's). The ride was a little bit more noticeable but far from rough. The car I drove with the 21's had adaptive suspension (which I also ordered). My car is about 2 weeks away from delivery, but will be going into the shop for PPF/Tint for 2 weeks. I plan on doing either 19's or 20's for my winter wheels come next snow season...

There is a very limited number of options for replacement tires in 21"(and 19" to a smaller degree), so if you plan on keeping the truck for a long time the 20" wheels will be "easier" to live with.

Doc: I've got a Q7 Prestige ordered and in-bound and was going through the process of sourcing some winter rims and tires (I live in Minneapolis and travel extensively in the Northern Midwest in sales). As you know my Q7 will come with 20's however based on everything I've read and experienced in the past with my current vehicle (BMW X5 35d), downsizing slightly, in this case to 19's seem like they'd offer better performance characteristics. Would you agree? However based on what you stated above, it sounds like I'll have a more difficult time finding tires in 19's vs. 20's, although perhaps you didn't mean with dedicated snow tires. Ok, hijack over!

At the end of the day, there isn't a great variety of viable options (correct diameter / correct load rating) in 18" (255/60R18), 19" (255/55R19) or 20" (265/50R20), but wheel prices are lower as you down from 20" to 18" for what its worth.
