Default Wheel alignment problem

Hi there I'm new here and have posted in the new member page to say hi.
I just recently purchased my very first Audi. It is a A4 cabriolet 2.5tdi V6 sport fitted with 235 45 r17 tyres.
To cut a long story short I just had new rear upper suspension arm fitted and 4 new tyres but the problem lay when the garage tried to align the offside rear wheel. No matter how hard they tried they could not get the tolerance down to the green area! The new suspension arm made a huge improvement bringing tolerance down from near 4.5 area but it's stuck at 1.47 and it needs to be 0.33

Is this something I need worry about? They said I could get a lower arm fitted but there is nothing wrong with the one that's on and it may not solve the issue. They also said there is no sign the car has ever been in a accident.

We're all just a little bit puzzled!

should I get a 2nd opinion or is 1.47 degrees ok (1 degree out) as my garage man says it would be saying he'd live with it happily.
