who here got Pirelli's P zero Nero's M&S 235-40-18's 91W's
and are not happy with them, say from the very start. Just the nay sayers and why?
|
I take it you have them and don't like 'em?
|
actually I don't
i am vacillating between the pirelli's, Goodyears F1 A/S and max summer conti 3's
|
interesting options.
If i had to have a UHP A/S I would probably get the GY F1 AS. The Pirelli P-Zero Nero MS is dated and falling behind the competition a tad now.
But with that being said if i wanted the best handling summer only tire ($ no object) i would get either the Conti 3's or the Michelin PS2's. I am pondering the GY F1 AS myself right now as a spring-fall tire before i put the winter tires on. I still will maintain track rubber for track days. But i still can't decide. |
I more I look at the GY A/S the more I like
its got kevlar and carbon fiber....all that adds up to 27 lbs. for the 235-40-18's...kinda hefty, but thats a good thing. The pzeros are only 22 lbs but only W speed.
|
i wish the GY was a tad lighter, but nothing will ever be perfect. It seems like a great
all around tire.
|
and the bonus is they'l get progressively lighter
the more miles you run 'em....I'm gonna go GY F1 A/S...thanks for the tips.

Why dont you like them?
I just picked up a set of OE Porsche wheels and Porsche NO Pirelli M&S I basically got for free-so I thought Id try them on teh wifes Cayenne. They are not Winter Tires, their M&S, I fully expect snow performance to be no match to true snows.

91W's?

Load and speed rating for that particular tire
