will 2015 s8 wheels fit a D3?
hi all,
wanted to know if these 2015 21” s8 wheels would fit my 2008 D3, and if i require any hardware.
Thanks.

We normally stay around a 35mm to 45mm offset for the older chassis, where the S8 (with its much larger brakes) uses a much lower offset(25mm to 30mm). I'd be concerned that you would have to roll or pull the fenders to avoid rubbing with the newer wheels. The S8 uses a taller tire size (28.3" tall) than the older car (27"), so that may make a bad situation worse.

Digi,
I don't see a picture of the wheels you're looking to put on your D3.
Look on the back and see what offset they are..... then look and see what offsets aftermarket wheel companies are offering. I know a number of people that have run 10mm spacers on their cars and if that's the case the D4 wheel may be just the right offset.
Doc comments on the tire being taller on the D4 versus the D3.... where you using the tire as well or would you be buying new tires? If so, look at shorter (lower profile) tires to get the height back where you need it.

Hi, everything was a perfect fit, wheel and tire size with no adjustments to the suspension at all, the only thing needed was hub centric rings because of the newer wheels having a larger hub, im very happy with how they fit and look.
