I have an almost new set of mounted winter tires from the A6 (C7) I just traded in, size 245/45/18. The all seasons on my new B9 A4 are 240/40/18. Aside from raising the ground clearance slightly, do any of you experts foresee a problem? Thanks in advance.

The 245/45R18 is approximately 1" larger in overall diameter than stock , which will cause a 3.9% error in speedometer accuracy (you will be going 3.9% faster than indicated). Any time we get close to 5% over stock diameter, we can expect issues with traction control systems misbehaving (engaging earlier than needed, etc). It's taller than we would ever recommend to be sure.
